Must mean something

Should that make a difference?

‘The money means nothing’

Except to you

Does that make a difference?

I think not.

If I were to say that

Your ignorance means pain

Would you too suffer

Coldly indifferent to my suffering

If I were to say that

You love me

Despite even yourself!

Is that any different?
